Just a lil about me…

Chris lives, works and podcasts from just outside of New York City and is available to travel for speaking engagements.

I have been keeping reptiles since 1998 and have seen the good, the bad, and the ugly of the reptile hobby. The podcast and channel give me the opportunity to talk about my experience in the hobby, interview some amazing people and tell some funny stories. This is not primarily a reptile show. It’s a comedy show with reptile guests.

In 1999, I moved out to Hollywood, CA where I lived for 12 years. I found my love of reptiles out in California and soon had a menagerie of over 90 animals including Burmese Pythons, Frilled Dragons, Savannah Monitors, Ball Pythons, and various Iguanas to name a few of the species we kept.

In 2011 I moved back to NY and started breeding Ball Pythons professionally. In 2016 I began casually podcasting with Snakes and the Fatman. Nowadays I do more podcasting than breeding but still have a love for the animals and this is a way I could stay in the game and still meet amazing people who work with animals all over the world.

The podcast allows me to vent, call out the bullsh#t in the hobby and still have fun hanging out with the friends I’ve made over the last 20 years. As long as we make one person laugh, we’ll keep doing this.
